“Immediately after the end of the war negotiations were begun between representatives of the Nobel and Standard Oil Company (N. J.) interests looking to the sale to the latter company of a participation in the Nobel properties.
Early in the Summer of 1920 the sale was consummated and the Nobel interests and Standard Oil Company (N. J.) became equal owners in the Nobel Russian oil properties. There has been no change in the situation since.”
